I'm running for the School Board seat in Portland's District 5.


I grew up here and went to Riverton, Lincoln, and Deering. I'm a mom of twin first-graders at Talbot. I've been on the board of the Foundation for Portland Public Schools for years. I've served as the chair of the Development Committee, and I'm proud to say we raised more than one million dollars this year to support our students.


I want to do more to make sure our students get an education that will serve them well for the rest of their lives. Serving on the School Board makes sense as the next step.


The election will be on June 14. That'll be here before we know it.
