As the daughter of a public school special education teacher, Sarah knows the importance of investing in community schools. She is committed to ensuring that every student in DC has access to a quality education. Her priorities include:
- equitable access to funding across DC schools
- teacher retention
- meaningful engagement of parents, students and teachers in policymaking.
Sarah is the only woman running in this Ward 2 race and is excited to share her ideas on how we can work together to improve DC schools.
