I am running for re-election as Somerville's Ward 3 School Committee Representative because I want to continue leveraging my experience as a parent, educator, social worker, and activist to help the Somerville Public Schools navigate the Coronavirus crisis.
Over the past 15 months, I have tried to ensure that Somerville's policies, practices, and budget put students first and walk our talk with respect to diversity, equity, and inclusion. As the pandemic recedes, my priority will be to ensure our public schools put in place the policies, systems, and structures necessary to support a student- and healing-centered recovery for ALL our kids.
