I am the D.C. Chapter Leader Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America. As a mom of a toddler and woman of many friends and loved ones, I worry about their safety in our community around the issue of gun violence. My work with Moms has given me an opportunity to make a difference in making our community safer. This June 2nd I’ll be wearing orange to recognize National Gun Violence Awareness Day and to honor victims of gun violence. I’m also raising money to support the work that I and thousands of others do across the country. I’m asking my friends to join in and make a donation to pay honor to the 93 Americans that are killed each day by gun violence. Thank you!
