I’m running for Manatee County Commission District 1 in the November 2026 general election.

I’m not starting from zero. In the 2024 election, I received roughly 18,000 votes from District 1 voters. This year, my Republican opponent won her party’s nomination with a margin of a little over 3,000 votes.


I’m running to represent District 1 on the issues I’ve been working on for years: responsible growth, infrastructure that keeps pace with development, clean water, transparency, public safety, and making sure residents have a real voice in county government.

A major focus of mine is getting our land-use policies and Comprehensive Plan right before today’s decisions become tomorrow’s permanent problems. I also want Manatee County to establish clear local rules for hyperscale AI data centers, protect residents from infrastructure and utility impacts, and strengthen the County’s cybersecurity posture—especially the

systems that keep our water, wastewater, public safety, and other critical infrastructure running.


This campaign is funded by people who believe local elections matter. Contributions support voter outreach, signs, mail, digital communication, and the work required to reach District 1 voters before Election Day.
