On February 28th, Cody Roberts of Wyoming ran a yearling wolf down with his snowmobile, taped her mouth shut, and paraded her through a bar before finally killing and skinning the young wolf.
His only infraction to date--as far as Wyoming is concerned--is having not killed the wolf sooner. Wolves are subject to an open season in 85% of the state and face gruesome, violent deaths as a result.
The Endangered Species Coalition is working at the state and federal level to turn this brutal attack into meaningful change for wolves. We are supporting our state partners and leading the charge to regain federal protections for wolves in states where they face unimaginable threats.
Your gift directly supports our work in the Northern Rockies, Colorado, the Pacific Northwest, and Washington, DC to enact change.
