Following 90for90.org's strategy that flipped Virginia blue, we are raising filing fees for candidates in deep red districts where Democrats have little structural support, even though they are doing important work: cutting margins for Joe Biden and Debbie Mucarsel Powell across Florida, forcing Republicans to spend money in their own districts and engaging local voters on environmental issues. Our candidates are focused on important environmental issues and provide community education where that status quo has been detrimental to local environmental health. We proved in 2020 that this strategy works to increase Democratic voter turnout, so we are doing it again.
