After two years of political harassment that culminated in a County Board hearing that shut down the Minocqua Brewing Company Tap Room, we have decided to sue the Town of Minocqua and Oneida County for 1st amendment violations in Federal Court. We no longer can tolerate their unceasing attempts to put us out of business because of our loud, unapologetic, and progressive voice.
We've waiting this long because we really didn't want to have to fundraise to protect our business and thought we could rectify this situation without legal action.
We've hired Fred Melms, the same attorney who filed our class action suit against Wisconsin anti-masking MAGA school boards, to assist us in this effort.
