The U.S. Supreme Court’s 5-4 decision overruling parts of the Voting Rights Act has opened the floodgates for voter suppression laws that were previously illegal.
We can stop this and restore strength to the Voting Rights Act, but it will require a sustained effort to make it happen. That's why People For The American Way and Daily Kos are teaming up to push Congress to amend the Voting Rights Act by including a new preclearance formula.
