Urban Charlotte Turnout - The Key to Winning Statewide

Swing Blue Alliance is pleased to be working with our long time partner All In for North Carolina, to support two grassroots organizations--Carolina Federation & Advance Carolina.


Expanding turnout among Black & Latino voters in Mecklerberg County (Charlotte area) is the key to statewide wins in NC. Low voter turnout in heavily Democratic Charlotte is a key reason that Democrats often lose NC statewide races by small-sometimes agonizingly tiny-margins. Tens of thousands of potential voters for Democrats in Charlotte often do not vote.


Carolina Federation & Advance Carolina are working to get out the Democratic vote to help win two critical statewide races-Roy Cooper for US Senate and Anita Earls for NC Supreme Court-and to win key state legislative races.


SBA is co-hosting a Zoom fundraiser on Thursday, September 24, 7:30-8:30 pm to support these two North Carolina grassroots groups.
