Priorities for U.S. Senate

  • Republicans are targeting Sen. Jon Ossoff (D-GA), who has been a consistent supporter of choice, marriage equality and the Equality Act.
  • Angie Craig (D-MN) was the first openly LGBTQ mom elected to Congress, and now she's running to bring pro-equality leadership to the US Senate.

First Term Openly LGBTQ+ U.S. House

In 2025, the U.S. House gained three newly elected LGBTQ+ women serving in districts across the country. Each made history with their victories and are serving as champions in Congress.

  • Delaware At Large: Rep. Sarah McBride (D)
  • Texas' 32nd District: Rep. Julie Johnson (D)
  • Washington's 6th District: Rep. Emily Randall (D)

Historic Races in 2026

  • Brianna Titone (D-CO) made history in 2018 when she became the first openly trans person to win a seat in the Colo. House. When elected Treasurer in 2026, she will be the first openly trans person elected to a statewide executive office.
