Spring Social 2023

Budgets reflect our values, priorities, and resources. So it's no surprise that Maine's budget, the federal budget, and the debt ceiling will preoccupy thoughtful lawmakers as well as their grandstanding counterparts for the next few months.

Garrett Martin of the Maine Center for Economic Policy will help us make sense of what is at stake for Maine people. We welcome him as the keynote speaker at this year's Spring Social. The event will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 7, at the West Bath Seaside Grange, 75 New Meadows Road, West Bath.

We also have invited our local Democratic representatives to talk about the 2023 legislative session.

Coffee, tea, fruit, and homemade desserts will be served.

The grange has limited parking, so we encourage the more mobile and/or adventurous among us to park on the street.

Consider becoming a HOST with a gift of $125 per person. (Each HOST receives a ticket to the event.) Or purchase an individual ticket for $25. Students and the too-young-to-vote crowd attend free of charge.

Your contribution supports the Sagadahoc Democratic Committee's efforts to help elect strong, progressive leaders to represent your values and concerns at the Maine Legislature and beyond.
