My platform:

1. Justice works best when it is consistent, efficient and proportional.
2. Public safety begins with holding violent, dangerous and repeat offenders fully accountable.
3. Being “tough on crime” means being tough on the right crimes – those that cause actual, real harm to people and neighborhoods.
4. Justice delayed is justice denied – for victims, defendants, and the community.
5. Victims and defendants should not be robbed of years of their lives awaiting a verdict that the DA’s Office failed to timely pursue.
6. Supporting victims is not optional – it is a core responsibility of the DA’s Office.
7. Not every case requires incarceration to achieve justice or safety.
8. Treatment focused accountability reduces recidivism and makes our community safer in the long term. Recovery courts and diversionary programs target a common cause of criminality - substance abuse and mental health disorders.
9. The DA’s Office must be a model of integrity. Accountability applies to prosecutors, too.
10. Trust is built when people see that the criminal justice system works – fairly, consistently, and without favoritism.
