Scott Spangler for Ward 5 Commissioner

Scott Spangler is a 2003 Strath Haven graduate and life-long township resident. At Strath Haven he was two-time Delco Player of the Year in soccer, and went on to graduate from Virginia Tech where he was captain of the men's soccer team that went to the NCAA Final Four. He is a professional youth soccer coach and works with the Philadelphia Union Academy program as well as other youth clubs. He also runs a small business: Future Captains Sports.


Scott was director of the township recreation camp for several years and has been involved with NPAA as a player, coach and now as a parent. Maintaining and improving the quality of these programs for our youth is an important priority. Scott also looks forward to imroving the township's parks and traffic and pedestrian safety.
