To fight gerrymandering in an enduring way, we must start with our communities. Our State Bridges program supports grassroots groups building long-term power on the ground. This program helps fund community-based organizations in our 2022 target states who will hold their representatives’ feet to the fire when it comes to drawing fair maps.
Long-term community-based organizing, often led by people of color, is a key to building progressive power in state legislatures. The State Bridges program creates a way for teams and affiliates to fundraise for select partner organizations doing this work in our 2022 target states.
