The State Bridges program connects States Win volunteers across the country with community-based organizations to provide an extra fundraising boost.
Long-term community-based organizing, often led by people of color, is critical to building power in state legislatures. The State Bridges program creates a way for teams and affiliates to fundraise for select partner organizations doing year round nonpartisan civic education, community leadership development, and community organizing in 2026.
We Are Down Home is a rural, community-based organization that engages working-class people around shared priorities through relationship-building, civic education, and leadership development. They support local teams focused on issues such as education, housing, disaster recovery, and social welfare programs.
