States Win for Ben Ming (NH HD Hillsborough 35)

Ben Ming is an attorney, former New Hampshire State Representative, a member of the Hollis Planning Board, husband, and father of four. He served in the New Hampshire House from 2022 to 2024 and was the first Chinese American elected to the New Hampshire General Court.

Professionally, Ben practices law with a focus on real estate and estate planning. His experience on the Hollis Planning Board has given him firsthand insight into housing, growth, and local government issues affecting New Hampshire families.

Ben Ming is running for the New Hampshire House because he believes the state is becoming too expensive for working families to afford. He wants to lower housing costs, reduce the burden of property taxes, and ensure that families can build long-term roots in New Hampshire.

WHY THIS RACE

After a tumultuous cycle in New Hampshire, Democrats have their sights set on flipping this chamber and the path to do so runs right through Ben Ming. Ben knows what it takes to win here because he has already done it once before.

WHY NEW HAMPSHIRE IS IMPORTANT

New Hampshire is a must watch state in 2026, with competitive legislative races running alongside a closely watched governor's race that could reshape the balance of power in Concord and a must-hold US Senate seat for Democrats. Republicans made significant gains at the state legislative level in 2024, delivering a majority in the House and a supermajority in the Senate, giving them nearly unchecked power to advance an extreme agenda on reproductive rights, public education, and voting access — with no Democratic governor to stop them. But as the pendulum swings in the left direction and with the fair, ultra competitive maps, Democrats eye majorities in both chambers.
