Southern Vermont Sister District Soupscription
We're not done yet! We are continuing our work to support strategic state legislator races in the coming years. We must keep fighting back and build progressive power in state legislatures to defend against dangerous federal legislation coming down around everything from reproductive rights to voting rights, healthcare to gun control. The Southern Vermont Sister District team has raised close to $100,000 since we started our efforts in 2016. That's a lot of support from our corner of this small but brave state!
By subscribing to our Sister District Soupscription you will receive delicious, monthly, homemade soup selections from February through May and be making a contribution to our continuing efforts to support progressive candidates in key races. Your soupscription fees will go directly to the Sister District Action Network's State Bridges Program, aiding grassroots organizations on the ground.
For a half soup subscription (1 quart/month), please select the $50 donation option in the "Total Contribution" section.
For a full subscription (2 quarts/month), please select the $100 donation option in the "Total Contribution" section.
What is the State Bridges Event Program?
To fight gerrymandering in an enduring way, we must start with our communities. Our State Bridges program supports grassroots groups building long-term power on the ground. This program helps fund community-based organizations in our 2023 and 2024 target states who will hold their representatives’ feet to the fire when it comes to drawing fair maps.
Long-term community-based organizing, often led by people of color, is a key to building progressive power in state legislatures. The State Bridges program creates a way for teams and affiliates to fundraise for partner organizations doing this work in our 2023 and 2024 target states.
This page splits your donation among these incredible organizations, as well as Sister District Action Network, the 501(c)(4) organization hosting the State Bridges event series.
