In 2025, Sister District candidates won every single one of their races in Virginia, Mississippi, Minnesota, and Iowa — breaking GOP Senate supermajorities in Mississippi and Iowa, and delivering a new trifecta in Virginia.
These are monumental wins. And now, we’re building on that momentum to flip more chambers and defend democracy in 2026.
Since 2016, the Southern Vermont Sister District team has raised well over $100,000 to help elect candidates in key states and strengthen grassroots infrastructure — remarkable impact from our small but mighty corner of Vermont.
By subscribing to the Sister District Soupscription, you’ll receive delicious, homemade, seasonal soup each month from February through May and contribute directly to Sister District -- from helping elect progressive candidates to providing critical support for power building organizations on the ground that advance equity and justice, our community of volunteers and donors has been at the forefront of change.
