The Sandwich Democratic Town Committee remains focused on four key areas: Local Elections, Environment, Housing, and Diversity. Throughout the year these and other topics are addressed at our group meetings along talks from elected officials and candidates.
The SDTC continues to look to support the Sandwich community by recognizing a Sandwich High School graduate and families in need during the holiday season through the Pat O’Connell Holiday Gift Giving Project.
To do all of this and more we need your help!
Supporting our local and strong Democratic elected officials - District Attorney, Sheriff, State Senate, and County Commissioner is critical. We also need to ensure that the 5th Barnstable State Representative district is flipped in 2024. Running a campaign takes a lot of work: fundraising, hiring staff and training both them and volunteers, knocking on doors, making phone calls, buying signs, preparing and distributing literature, and supporting offices to support our candidates.
That’s an overwhelming amount of work for a voluntary organization to take on—and, a costly one. Help the SDTC with your donation - every dollar helps and will go a long way !
