Craig Secatero for Socorro County Commission District

Craig Secatero is running for Socorro County Commission District 2. He’s a long-time resident of Alamo, NM. His passion is his family and community. As an educator, he’s spent his whole career ensuring that our young people have the best start possible. He knows that with a good foundation, children are more likely to enjoy success throughout their lives. Craig understands that if we are investing in our youth we are investing in the future of our county. 

We all know politics as normal won't cut it - the Covid-19 pandemic has brought to the forefront the iniquities so many are facing. We need a leader who will stand for what is right and will fight for his community. Someone who understands the importance in investing in adequate health care, broadband, and local business.   

Craig understands the struggles so many are facing because he has lived them.  When the Covid-19 pandemic hit, like many Craig stepped up for his community, helping to make sure folks had water and food. Then, Craig contracted Covid-19 himself. It was the toughest battle of his life, he  knows first hand the toll the virus takes on people, on families. It renewed his commitment to help the people of Socorro County.
