Though Marwan was born in America, he spent the majority of his formative years in Beirut. At 15 years of age, Marwan returned to the United States in the Philadelphia area after his family fled Lebanon due to a civil war. The change in cultures he experienced, as well as the challenges he and his family faced upon arriving, made Marwan sensitive to the struggles of marginalized citizens from an early age. Please give today to help Second Generation support trailblazers like Marwan.
