Since President Trump called for Senator Slotkin to be arrested, tried, and hanged on November 20th, he has attempted to weaponize federal law enforcement and America’s legal system against her, reportedly over the objections of career FBI personnel.
This legal defense fund, created with approval from the bipartisan U.S. Senate Ethics Committee, allows the Senator to prepare for the legal fight from Trump’s false and vindictive allegations.
The maximum individual contribution is $10,000 per year. The funds raised into this legal defense fund can only be used to pay for expenses related to the legal representation of Senator Slotkin and reasonable expenses related to the administration of the legal defense fund.
The fund cannot accept a contribution from the following: (1) any registered lobbyist or lobbying firm, (2) any officer or employee of the United States Senate, or their spouse or dependent, (3) any corporation or labor organization; (4) the principal campaign committee of any Member of the Congress, or (5) any foreign national.
Contribution rules
- I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
- This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
- I am at least eighteen years old.
- I am making this contribution with my own personal credit card and not with a corporate or business credit card or a card issued to another person.
- I am not a registered Federal lobbyist.
- I am not an officer or employee of the United States Senate, or a spouse or dependent of such person.

Contributions or gifts to the Senator Slotkin Legal Defense Fund are not tax deductible. Federal law prohibits contributions from corporations, labor organizations and national banks; from any person contributing another person's funds; and from foreign nationals who lack permanent resident status.
