Re-elect Sergio Lopez to Campbell City Council
Sergio Lopez is Vice Mayor for the City of Campbell and serves as Vice Chair of the Valley Transportation Authority. Since being elected in 2020, he has made Campbell the regional leader on housing issues and worked to support our local businesses.
Sergio is running for re-election to deliver for Campbell residents:
Housing and Homelessness
- Led development of the most ambitious housing plan in Santa Clara County
- Obtained grant to fund a case worker for three years to provide services to our unhoused neighbors
- Supported studying the establishment of the first shelter in the West Valley region
Supporting Our Small Businesses
- Reduced average permitting time for permits and cut costs and red tape
- Helped lead development of Economic Development Plan and supporting implementation
- Supported grants to local businesses to support downtown parklets
Climate and Sustainability
- Elected Vice Chair of regional transit agency to cut down on greenhouse gases and improve regional sustainability
- Supporting the development of Campbell's first-ever Climate Action and Adaptation Plan
- Helped create regional electrification measures for nine-county Bay Area
Since winning a historic election victory, I've worked hard every day to serve Campbell and our region — but the work isn't finished.
