I’m Ricardo Serna, a longtime community organizer and small business owner, and I’m running as a write-in candidate for the Phoenix Union High School District Ward 5, which covers Maryvale and Trevor Browne High Schools. Having grown up in a low-income household, I understand the challenges many of our students face. My life experiences, combined with nearly a decade of organizing in the district, motivate me to serve our local high schools and help students succeed.
