Fighting for Richmond's Future

Richmond needs help. Our schools and infrastructure are crumbling, and recovering from the impacts of COVID-19 won’t happen overnight. Having a Lieutenant Governor who understands these struggles and will be a partner in progress for this city is critical, and Hala will be just that. In Virginia’s House of Delegates, she was critical in expanding Medicaid for 400,000 Virginians, raising teacher pay, passing the Equal Rights Amendment and expanding background checks to keep guns out of dangerous hands.
