Contribution rules
- I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
- I am at least eighteen years old.
- I certify that this contribution is being made from my own personal funds, is not being reimbursed in any manner, and is not being made as a loan to the committee.
- The address I have provided is my residential address and not a P.O. Box.
Only individual contributions are permitted. Donations between $5 and $250 may qualify for public matching funds, provided a contributor’s total giving does not exceed $1,050 during the election cycle. For State Assembly candidates, eligible contributions are matched at a tiered rate of 12:1 on the first $50, 9:1 on the next $100, and 8:1 on the final $100. Contributions from corporations are prohibited. State law also prohibits making a contribution in the name of another person, reimbursing someone for a contribution made in your name, being reimbursed for a contribution made in your name, or falsely reporting a contribution as a loan.
