I’m a nurse practitioner, wife, and mother. I’m running for State House because I believe South Carolina needs leaders who are focused on the real issues that people face.
Since I first set foot on Clemson’s campus, South Carolina has been home. After I graduated Clemson University with a degree in nursing, I earned my Doctorate of Nursing Practice from the University of South Carolina. After time in Charleston, where I taught nursing courses, and a stint in Atlanta, where I worked with inner-city children at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and practiced psychiatry in one of the largest county jails in the country, I came back to Greenville. I now work for Prisma Health, where I serve as a nurse practitioner in the Department of Psychiatry.
We knew that Greenville was where we wanted to raise our family. My husband, Lee, and I have a five-year-old daughter, Max. We want her to receive a world-class education, get a good-paying job, and be able to raise her own family right here in South Carolina. Unfortunately, politicians in Columbia aren’t working to improve our quality of life – they’re focused on taking away our rights and debating issues that do nothing but divide us.
We deserve better than what we’ve been getting from politicians in Columbia. If elected, I will work every day to serve the people of House District 24 and the state of South Carolina.
Thank you for your contribution and helping me get the word out!
