Shayne Bilbrey is running for County Commission to serve you. He’s not a career politician, or someone who wants to get elected to do nothing for 20 years, but instead he is a lifelong Putnam Countian, a proud Monterey High School graduate, and a 1st generation Tennessee Tech graduate.
Shayne isn’t rich and he doesn’t own a business either. Instead he is a working-class man who’s worked hard for everything he’s gotten. He’s a hard worker, and someone who will work hard for you every day if elected.
He’s not running to be a caretaker, but as someone who will work day and night to improve the lives of his constituents.
Shayne will work to invest more money into making Jere Whitson Park a place where folks can enjoy again, work to get more sidewalks built in the district, fund improvements to Jere Whitson Elementary School, create both pedestrian and bike paths to promote healthy living, provide property tax incentives for new housing, and will make sure that your tax dollars are being put back to work here in the district.
It’s time for change, and it’s time to elect a new leader to lead us forward and not to just keep the status quo.
