This session I sponsored bills to:

  • Reduce plastic waste by making water bottle filling stations widely available
  • Ban PFAS in pesticides
  • Protect animals and humans by creating wildlife crossings to reduce auto collisions with animals on the highways
  • Create a workgroup to study how to improve substance use disorder outcomes
  • Protect children from being arrested for behavior that should be handled with regular school discipline
  • Create a commission to study state-based universal healthcare in Maryland
  • Authorize a property tax credit for converting gas stations to other uses, to assist in environmental remediation
  • and more!
