Shomari Figures for Congress
Alabama’s newly-drawn Congressional district offers a great pickup opportunity for Democrats. After the map was redrawn, the nonpartisan Cook Political Report changed its ranking to likely Democrat. For the first time in history, the state could be represented by two Black Members of Congress at the same time.
But with the House majority on the line, Republicans will vigorously defend this seat in the fall.
