Shontel Brown is a member of congress as representative of Ohio’s 11th District since 2021.

She was previously a member of the Cuyahoga County Council, representing District 9 in Ohio. She assumed office in 2015.

She took the reins of the Cuyahoga County Democratic party in 2018, becoming the first woman and the first African American to lead the county Democratic party.

Among the definitions she places on herself are woman, political strength and voter. Brown talks of the political power which can be wielded by women. She praises Ohio women who have distinguished themselves in politics.

As a member of County Council, Ms. Brown advocates for the needs of seniors and youth, and is working toward establishing a health and human services that integrates economic development and promotes job opportunities.

Shontel Brown is the only candidate that could continue to fight for the people of Ohio's 11th District.

I'm ready to reelect Shontel to congress, who's with me?
