I started working in government for no reason other than I knew my city could be better. As a person who relied on the bus, I wanted to improve our transit because I felt the problems. So, I ran for the RTD Board of Directors and realized my ability to impact immediate change. When the city failed to provide the necessary safety net for my neighbors, I ran for the City Council. And now that it is apparent that wholesale change is needed to restore joy and compassion to our city, I am running for Mayor. I am the correct person for this moment.
