Help two great candidates fighting to break the Republican supermajority!

Nicole, running in HD-105, is a mom, attorney, and former high school teacher. She's running against Tricia Cotham, who betrayed her district and switched parties, giving Republicans the last vote they needed to override Governor Cooper's veto and pass an abortion ban. Her priorities include:

• Protecting public education and ending Cotham's handouts of taxpayer money to exclusive private schools.
• Supporting small businesses and childcare & family leave programs to allow more women to enter the workforce.
• Defending our reproductive freedom and allowing people to make their own decisions about abortion, contraception, and IVF.

Jon, running in HD-20, worked as a legislative aide in the U.S. Congress before serving as U.S. Foreign Service Officer in the State Department for over 20 years, where he was posted to Denmark, Serbia, Lithuania, and Israel. His final post (and what brought him to NC) was as an advisor to Marine Special Operations Command at Camp Lejeune. He has received several meritorious awards for his work. His priorities include:

• Restoring and advancing women's reproductive health rights and freedoms.
• Creating more affordable housing and encouraging sustainable development in our communities.
• Holding polluters accountable, strengthening environmental protections, and investing in renewable energy.
• Fighting back against gerrymandering, and restoring transparency, balance and decency to State government.
