Join us for a joyful afternoon as we celebrate 10 years of Sisterhood Gardens and raise critical funds needed to keep our garden growing.
For a decade, Sisterhood Gardens has been a neighborhood space for food, flowers, pollinators, learning, gathering, wellness, and community care. Our garden is home to one of the most diverse and impressive locally bred dahlia collections in San Francisco, drawing visitors from across the City and beyond to experience its extraordinary blooms.
Sisterhood Gardens is more than a garden. It is a safe and welcoming urban green space where elders, youth, families, artists, immigrants, neighbors, and people across identities and intersections can connect with nature, build relationships, and experience the healing power of land-based community care.
This 10th anniversary celebration will bring together garden members, neighbors, families, past donors, community partners, artists, and friends to honor everything this garden has made possible.
We need to raise at least $10,000 to sustain garden operations and keep Sisterhood Gardens rooted in community. All registered attendees will have access to free activities, music, snacks, and plant and seed swap while supplies last. Guests can support the garden by purchasing meal tickets, becoming a garden sponsor, or making a special dedication gift. Sponsors may also receive a thank-you bouquet. All proceeds support Sisterhood Gardens’ operating costs and help keep this community garden blooming, welcoming, and resilient for the next ten years.
Plant & Seed Swap (FREE with Registration)
Join our plant and seed swap. Plant contributions are welcome but not required. Please bring only healthy, pest-free, and disease-free plants or seeds so we can keep our gardens thriving.
Shop With Local Makers (FREE with Registration)
In the garden will be a local made goods featuring Ceramics from Horse Feathers Pottery and more! A portion of sales benefit the garden.
Community Meal Ticket ($17 per person)
Enjoy a catered community lunch in the garden, with vegetarian options available. Meal tickets are sold separately from sponsorship and donation levels, allowing guests to choose how they would like to support the garden. Garden beverages will be available for purchase on site, and guests are encouraged to bring a filled water bottle. Please note that meal tickets are not tax-deductible.
Bloom Builder Bouquet Bar Sponsor ($35+ Donation)
With over 600 dahlia varieties, including exclusive ones bred only at Sisterhood Gardens, you’ll create a bouquet as unique as you are. Ticket holders will get access to a stunning selection of premium dahlia forms and colors, all grown right here in San Francisco and artfully paired with seasonal flowers and greenery from our garden
to make a stunning custom bouquet!
Garden Guardian Sponsor ($75+ Donation)
Make a deeper gift to keep Sisterhood Gardens blooming. Garden Sustainer sponsors receive a fuller premium bouquet thank-you gift featuring premium seasonal blooms and garden-grown greenery. Your support helps us care for the garden as a welcoming neighborhood space for food, flowers, pollinators, wellness, and community connection. The Fair market value of this bouquet is $40 USD.
10th Anniversary Circle ($150+ Donation)
Celebrate 10 years of Sisterhood Gardens with a leadership gift. 10th Anniversary Circle donors receive special donor recognition and two premium bouquets. This level is a meaningful way to help us reach our $10,000 fundraising need and sustain the garden for the year ahead.

Pollinator Pathway Dedication ($500+ Donation)
Honor a loved one, family, organization, or community commitment with a small garden dedication opportunity, such as a plaque or marker along a garden pathway or shared space. Dedication text, materials, size, placement, and installation timeline are subject to review and approval by the Sisterhood Gardens Neighborhood Committee.
Name a Dahlia Dedication ($600+ Donation)
Sisterhood has the special opportunity for you to name a Dahlia after yourself or a loved one! We have three unique flowers developed on site for you to adopt and support the gardens!
Bench Dedication Gift ($1,000+ Donation)
Create a meaningful tribute in the garden through a bench plaque dedication opportunity. This is a special way to honor someone while sustaining Sisterhood Gardens for the community. Dedication text, plaque specifications, bench availability, placement, and installation timeline are subject to review and approval by the Sisterhood Gardens Neighborhood Committee.
Rooted in Sisterhood Legacy Sponsor ($5,000+ Donation)
Leave a lasting legacy while supporting the heart of our community garden. Rooted in Sisterhood Legacy Sponsors may choose one of the following thank-you opportunities, pending availability and committee approval:
- A private bouquet-making experience for up to 15 guests at Sisterhood Gardens
- A special garden dedication opportunity
- Major sponsor recognition at the 10th anniversary celebration
Your generous support sustains Sisterhood Gardens for seasons to come. All donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Sisterhood Gardens is a part of the Chinese Progressive Association, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
All proceeds support our fundraising goal of $10,000 to cover operating costs and keeps Sisterhood rooted in community!
