Right now, the most important thing we can do is win back the House. Why? Because the House controls the budget. And the budget controls whether science is strengthened or sidelined. Funding for medical research, climate science, clean energy, public health, and basic innovation doesn’t disappear by accident. It’s cut deliberately. Restoring it starts in Congress.


The good news: flipping the House is possible.


Republicans hold the narrowest House majority in nearly a century. Control will come down to a small number of competitive districts. If we win those seats, we win the House. And if we win the House, we can restore funding to science, research, and innovation that actually improves people’s lives.


That’s where this fund comes in.


In partnership with Swing Left, your donation will be directed to the Democratic candidates in the races that will decide control of the House in 2026. These are the districts where dollars matter most and where winning unlocks real power:

  • Arizona: AZ-01 and AZ-06
  • California: CA-13, CA-22, CA-45, and CA-48
  • Colorado: CO-08
  • Iowa: IA-01 and IA-03
  • Michigan: MI-04, MI-07, MI-08, and MI-10
  • Nebraska: NE-02
  • Nevada: NV-03
  • New Mexico: NM-02
  • New Jersey: NJ-07 and NJ-09
  • New York: NY-03, NY-04, NY-17, and NY-19
  • Ohio: OH-01 and OH-13
  • Oregon: OR-05
  • Pennsylvania: PA-07, PA-08, and PA-10
  • Virginia: VA-02 and VA-07
  • Washington: WA-03

Your donation goes directly to Democratic nominees—either incumbents defending their seats or nominee funds in Republican-held districts. After primaries, nominee funds are released to the official Democratic candidates right when general elections begin, when funding is most impactful. A portion also supports year-round organizing to win these races.

Contribution rules

  1. I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
  2. This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
  3. I am at least eighteen years old.
  4. I am not a federal contractor.
  5. I am making this contribution with my own personal credit card and not with a corporate or business credit card or a card issued to another person.
  6. Your contribution to a nominee fund will be held in escrow by ActBlue until a Democratic candidate is nominated in the congressional district for which you selected. Your contribution will be forwarded to the Democratic nominee within ten days of their nomination. In the unlikely event that no nominee is selected, your contribution will revert to ActBlue and will be considered as a contribution to ActBlue.
An individual may contribute up to $6,600 and a multicandidate committee (“PAC”) may contribute up to $10,000 to Suozzi for Congress. The first $3,300 of a person’s contribution and the first $5,000 of a PAC’s contribution will be designated for the primary election, and the final $3,300/$5,000 will be designated for the general election.
