In a changing political environment, winning blue power in the states isn’t a bonus. It’s essential. State governments control redistricting, set voting rules, and have a tremendous impact on the lives of the people they govern. 


Republicans are counting on locking in favorable district maps and voting rules before 2028. In order to block them, we need to first secure Democratic control.


Swing Left has determined the most competitive races that will determine the balance of state-level power—so you can focus your support where it will have the greatest impact.


By giving to the gubernatorial nominee and/or the Democratic legislative caucus campaign arms in these states, your dollars will go further. These committees run field organizing, place ads, and are best positioned to direct resources to the state leg races that need them most as Election Day approaches.

  2. I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
  3. I am at least eighteen years old.
  4. This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.

  6. I am not an employee of the Ohio public office for which the recipient of my contribution is a candidate.
  7. I am a United States citizen.
