The Defend Democracy Fund CHANGE to "Yes, count me in" BELOW

Our county Democratic party needs consistent and reliable funding to be effective as we fight for democracy.


You can join this vital effort by pledging a minimum donation of $100 per year per person or $26 monthly to THE DEFEND DEMOCRACY FUND of the Democratic Party of Shawano-Menominee Counties.


With a consistent revenue stream from our committed members, we will be able to

  • Maintain and staff an office
  • Support candidates who share our values
  • Show up strongly at county fairs, parades, and community events
  • Communicate clearly about Democratic accomplishments in Wisconsin

An important part of THE DEFEND DEMOCRACY FUND will be our biannual get-togethers to share our ideas and concerns, meet and greet candidates, and possibly listen to a speaker or two.

Tentative 2026 Events:

  • Monday, May 4th at Dockers in Shawano
  • Thursday, September 17th (Constitution Day and Citizenship Day) at Chet & Emil’s in Birnamwood
