In the era of late-stage capitalism, our dating and social lives are more and more controlled by for-profit companies. But on March 9th, NYC-DSA is bringing back some old school social organizing with our Socialist Speed Dating event! From 7:30-9:30 at the Parkside Lounge, lefties, socialist, and progressives from all over NYC will come together for our first ever speed dating event. Get off those dating apps and come meet IRL with some of the coolest leftists in the city! Whether you're looking for a long term leftist love, or just a social hang with some like-minded anti-capitalists, whatever you’re looking for, we’ll have it!
Note: NYC-DSA and Parkside Lounge have zero tolerance policies for harassment. That means any racism, transphobia, ageism, sexism, non-consensual touching or other forms of harassment will not be tolerated and result in immediate removal from the event. We will have several safety monitors at the event if you ever feel unsafe. Find love or find friends, but do it respectfully.
