Community media is a means of addressing inequity and directly supporting our vulnerable, underserved, and disenfranchised community members. SMC provides opportunities for youth, adults, seniors, and other local nonprofits to have a voice in their community - one that reflects the realities of their lives and empowers them to advocate for their own interests. SMC's work uplifts portions of the community in order to benefit everyone.
