Councilwoman Sonia Vásquez Luna is the proud Democratic nominee for the Virginia House of Delegates, District 20, which includes Manassas City, Manassas Park, and parts of Prince William County.

Sonia Vásquez Luna immigrated to the United States from El Salvador in 2001. While supporting her mother and sisters, she attended English classes at night, determined to build a better future through hard work and perseverance.
She made history in November 2022 as the first Hispanic person elected to the Manassas City Council, during the city’s 150th anniversary. She is now running for the House of Delegates, District 20.
