To say the past few years have been difficult locally and nationally would be an understatement. And yet, it holds true that registering new voters and electing democrats at every level is one of our best hopes at pushing back threats to our democracy. To that end, we are launching the Save Our Seats Fundraising Campaign.
A generous $1,000 donation has already been made by B. Don and Debra Steveson. Don is a former chairman of the Cleveland County Democratic Party and both are active precinct officers.
We will have in-person events to meet candidates, educate voters, and see friends. We can host these events with zero to little expense but we cannot win elections without your support.
