Asian Americans Advancing Justice - Atlanta

Thank you for coming to SouthEats 2023

SouthEATS 2023 was held at Park Tavern on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 from 6-9pm. The evening was an unforgettable evening of food, culture, and community at the 7th annual SouthEATS fundraiser! We celebrated Asian Pacific American History Month with an event that brought together community members, leaders, and professionals with a passion for Asian American culture, leadership, and civic advancement.

We enjoyed the best of Asian and Asian-inspired cuisine, all while supporting the vital work of Asian Americans Advancing Justice-Atlanta. We indulged in the amazing flavors of Malaysian cuisine expertly prepared by the culinary artists at Food Terminal, and satisfied your sweet tooth with delectable desserts by Sweet Hut.

But that's not all – this year's SouthEATS also showcased the incredible creativity and talent of AAPI artists. Our art-themed raffle gave many the chance to win beautiful original art pieces and enjoy immersive art-based experiences while kids enjoyed fun, art-themed activities.

This fundraiser benefitted Asian Americans Advancing Justice-Atlanta, whose mission is to protect the civil rights of Asian Americans, Native Hawaiian, Pacific Islander (AANHPI) and Arab, Middle Eastern, Muslim, and South Asian (AMEMSA) communities in Georgia and the Southeast. Our work focuses on Policy Advocacy, Organizing & Civic Engagement, Impact Litigation, and Legal Services.
