Mayor Kobi is leading a generation of young activists from protests to politics. In 2021, this Working Families Party member made history: becoming America's first #BlackLivesMatter organizer elected Mayor and the first Socialist mayor elected in a large city in 50 years.


Mayor Kobi is a mission to make the Blackest City in the United States –South Fulton, GeorgiaBlack on Purpose. For Kobi, this means leading South Fulton to the forefront of economic, housing and restorative justice policies that improve the lives of Black people — and by extension, all people.
