South Shore Stamp Fund

Hi, this is Amanda from the Good Trouble Makers of Southeastern Massachusetts, who host the First Friday Postcard Parties (FFPP) on the South Shore.

I am emailing to thank everyone who contributed to the success of our postcard parties, which have over the last year supported many Democrats running for office. Our band of troublemakers has expanded from a few close friends gathering in my living room occasionally to a large group that meets regularly each month. Our ever-growing family of friends has been successful at helping multiple campaigns win their election. Our band of troublemakers does this by sending postcards to remind people to vote.

The Troublemakers is an all-volunteer organization that has grown thanks to you inviting your friends to participate in our postcard parties. In the New Year, the troublemakers plan to help Democrats running for office both locally and nationally leading up to the midterm election. To help with this effort, the troublemakers are asking for donations for postcards and stamps. You can make a one-time donation or monthly subscription; this donation helps offset the cost of postcards and stamps.

Your donations will make it possible for the troublemakers to help a larger group of candidates in the midterm election. The trouble will be continuing our first Friday postcard party in Hanover but adding additional parties. The team is looking to expand to other weeknights and, because it is getting darker earlier, is considering hosting a tea time postcard party. Please share your thoughts on expanding the postcard parties in the new year.

The Good Troublemakers' focus in the coming weeks is going to be the special election in Tennessee and promoting local donation drives. In the new year the team will be helping with local rep and senate races, along with statewide office and the second Massachusetts senate seat. The team will be helping host day trips to New Hampshire, Maine, and other battleground states to do voter outreach. Please consider donating to our postcard and stamp fund, and more importantly, share your thoughts on expanding our meetings.

This is Amanda, and thank you for your support.

Your contribution will go to the South Shore Democratic Caucus PAC and will be used to cover postage and printing in support of local Democratic turnout efforts, including First Friday campaigns.
