SP Historic Preservation Political Committee is a registered political committee to identify, endorse and support Saint Paul candidates who advocate for historic preservation in Saint Paul. One by one, beautiful buildings and other structures that mark important periods of St. Paul’s history are being swept aside in a misguided drive for modernization. Historic places have an outsized positive impact on communities, positively affecting people’s quality of life, neighborhood identity, property values, affordable housing access, and local economies.
