Sparks of Change: A Leadership Summit for Young Advocates
Sparks of Change 2023 is the first of its kind at OCA-GH, where we will be tailoring programming to center the diverse identities of young Houstonians as they explore job, internship, and career opportunities after high school and in college.
We have found that many individuals leaving high school and entering college are unaware that their identities and values as members of their respective communities can lead to long lasting professions in the field of public service. We aim to address this challenge through targeted topics that will be addressed through a series of interactive workshops and presentations, while networking with other community leaders to better inform their goals.
