Urgent: Animals in urgent need due to COVID-19 crisis
Around the globe, animal rescue groups are struggling to operate amidst supermarket shortages, restrictions on personal movement, contracting economies and increased animal abandonment. Shelters in China, Italy and South Korea need our help right now to keep animals safe.
Dogs and cats in shelters have all the same needs, but shelters are desperate – pet food has vanished from supermarket shelves, animals are being abandoned at increasing rates, adoptions rates are near zero, and volunteers and workers can’t get to the shelters because of road closures and restrictions.
Your donation will give shelter staff and volunteers the ability to keep caring for the animals who depend on them.
