Speak Up for Democracy Summer Picnic

On Saturday, July 25th come hear Democratic candidates for the midterm elections speaking live in Warren County. This is a rare opportunity to bypass media, AI, and 2nd hand reportage to make your voting decisions and instead listen directly to the people running for office. They will address the issues affecting the positions they seek, discuss their qualifications and answer your questions. Ray Bilger, candidate for US Congress 15th District, and Destiny Howard, candidate for Pennsylvania House of Representatives 65th District will attend.

Community members are invited to hear directly from these candidates in a casual, welcoming environment being hosted by the Democratic Committee of Warren County as part of its annual summer picnic. The picnic’s theme is “Speak Up for Democracy.” The event is scheduled for Saturday, July 25, from 5-8 p.m. at Pellegrino’s Creekside Pavilion, 449 Conewango Ave., Warren.

On the 250th anniversary of the founding of our democracy, it is especially important to honor our First Amendment right to free speech and assembly by carefully listening to our candidates so we make informed voting decisions. The Warren County Democratic Committee encourages all members of our community to come listen so they can Speak up for Democracy with informed opinions.

Guests will enjoy an evening of food, including pulled pork and pulled chicken, vegetarian options, side dishes, homemade desserts, and soft drinks. There will also be a cash bar. The Democratic Committee of Warren County is growing and you will meet many of the new committee members, volunteers and devoted voters. Expand your community with meaningful conversation along the scenic banks of the Conewango Creek.

Reservations are required and the cost to cover the picnic dinner is $25 per person for those 18 and over. Reserve your spot today at www.warrendems.org or go directly to this link: https://secure.actblue.com/donate/speakup2026picnic
