This political action committee was started by a team of Special Needs parents from the City of Alhambra, a neighboring city to Los Angeles. For over a decade these parents have been at the forefront of Special Needs education, services, civil liberties, and social acceptance for the purpose of enhancing the quality of life for a Special Needs child, adult, and/or senior. Possessing the tenacity, perseverance, and patience that is unique to Special Needs parents and siblings, this group has turned its focus on the political arena.
It is no coincidence that this PAC was launched on the day that Betsy DeVos bought her way to the Secretary of Education post. Where once our battlefields were the school administrator's office, the I.E.P hearings or the classrooms, the battle is now in the halls of congress, state legislatures and local boards and councils. We are determined to win this battle, as we have won throughout our children's entire lives. We will not lose - with your help our community's most vulnerable will never be threatened again.
Thank you for your support.
